Due to the recent spike in COVID-19 cases, the Gahanna Veterans Memorial Committee is unable to host its annual Veterans Day Ceremony at Gahanna Veterans Memorial Park. Instead, the committee will be “Saluting Those Who Served” in a pre-recorded Veterans Day tribute video.  The video will be released to the public on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/GahannaVets and our website www.gahannavets.org  at 11:00am on Wednesday, November 11.

The Gahanna Veterans Memorial project began in 1997. It grew from a dream of several local veterans. For a complete story on the life of the memorial please follow the “Memorial Facts” link.

The purpose of the memorial is to honor all veterans of all branches of the United States military who served abroad or at home. Their service to this country will forever be memorialized in the bricks that are engraved with names, rank, service branch or just a loving memory as a symbol of honor to them and their families.
